CG PET 2024: The Directorate of Technical Education (DTE), Chhattisgarh is going to close the registration window for the Chhattisgarh Pre-Engineering Test (CG PET) counselling 2024 phase 1 tomorrow. Candidates who qualified for the entrance exam can visit the official website i.e. cgdteraipur.cgstate.gov.in. to participate in CG PET 2024 phase 1 counselling.
According to the counselling schedule, the CG PET counselling 2024 phase 1 seat allotment result will be released on 14 August 2024. There will be three rounds of counselling i.e. phase 1, phase 2, and institute-level. The CG PET 2024 counselling process will include registration, allotment of seats, and reporting to allotted institutes.
The CG PET 2024 counselling will be conducted for admission to various undergraduate and postgraduate programmes offered at state technical institutes. After the successful completion of the registrations, candidates will have to be present for the seat allotment round followed by admission completion.
Candidates in the unreserved category must have at least 45% of the total marks in their Class 12th diploma from a recognized board. Reserved category candidates from Chhattisgarh must have secured at least 40%. According to the regulations issued by the board, each of the three main subjects recommended by the All India Council for Technical Education (AICTE) must be passed separately in both theory and practical exams.
