Uttar Pradesh Technical University (UPTU) has taken decision to reduce the registration fee of UPSEE counselling.
This decision will be given a final yes in a meeting to be held by Central Admission Board (CAB) likely to be held next week.
The students residing in Uttar Pradesh will have to pay half of the registration fee to get admission in Engineering and Management colleges across the state. Students had to pay 10,000 as registration fee till date but now they will have to pay only Rs/- 5,000.
According to Prof. Diwakar Singh Yadav, Pro-Vice Chancellor of the university " At the time of counselling students have to pay ten thousand as registration fee but now they will have to pay only five thousand as registration fee."

This is a good news for the students who have qualified UPSEE -2014 exam and are gearing up for counselling process. UPTU will order to collect the reduced amount of registration fee from students.
The meeting of CAB is scheduled to be held on June 18 or 19, he said. Students have to pay the registration fee at the time of taking college allotment letter.
UPTU has done special arrangements for monitoring on zero problem to students opting for admission through UPSEE. If students would not be able to take admission in their prefered choice colleges they will have to face lesser problem than previous year.
IGNOU to conduct MBA entrance test on August 17
Some certain changes in the format of UPSEE's counselling is also being done to provide better facility to the students. According to an official "The counselling process for UPSEE is likely to begin in the last week of June."
