Jamia Millia Islamia university has launched a helpline for students seeking admission to various courses on offer at the varsity.
"A team of student volunteers headed by a programme officer has been posted at the newly set up admission desk. Students or parents can call the helpline at 011-26981717, extension for which is 1790, Jamia spokesperson Mukesh Ranjan said."
The helpline would be functional from 10 AM to 5.30 PM on all days, he added.

The admission process at the varsity had started on Wednesday.
