State-run Indian Institute of Tourism and Travel Management (IITTM) will offer a full- fledged management programme in tourism in partnership with the Indira Gandhi National Tribal University (IGNTU).
A Memorandum of Understanding to this effect has been signed between IITTM, which functions under the aegis of the Union Ministry of Tourism and IGNTU at Amarkantak in Madhya Pradesh, a statement here said on Thursday.
Director of IITTM Sandeep Kulshreshtha and Vice- Chancellor of IGNTU, T V Kattimani exchanged the signed documents of the MoU in the presence of Union Minister of State for Tourism Mahesh Sharma here.
The IITTM will now start the MBA (Tourism) programme in place of the earlier PGDM course in collaboration with the National Tribal University which has a pan-India presence, the statement said.

Tourism Secretary Lalit Panwar and other senior officials of the ministry were also present on the occasion.
