The Indira Gandhi National Open University (IGNOU) is offering a masters programme in tourism from the 2013 session, an official said on Sunday.
"The Master of Arts in Tourism Management (MTM) consists of four semesters. The course is designed for students interested in a career in tourism at the managerial level," a statement said.
The last date to apply is June 15.
"Students who have completed graduation in any field along with a Diploma in Tourism, which is recognised in the university system or by All India Council for Technical Education (AICTE), are eligible for the course," it added.
The prospectus form is available at IGNOU for Rs 200 and at all its regional centres. For further information, aspirants can log on to website www.ignou.ac.in
