Delhi University Releases the Third Cut-off, Check the list for Top Colleges and Courses

The University of Delhi (DU) has released the third cut-off list for admission to various undergraduate courses offered in colleges affiliated to the varsity.

The complete cut off list will be released by the University soon. Admission based on the third cut off list will conclude on July 11, 2019. The University will release fourth cut off list for admission to seats which remain vacant after the third round of admission on July 15, 2019. 

DU admissions 2019: List of colleges with third cut off list

- BCom (Hons), BCom Programme, Economics (Hons) and English are available in top colleges such as Shri Ram College of Commerce (SRCC), Lady Shri Ram (LSR), Hindu, Hansraj and in many others.

- B.Com Hons. has reduced to 96.25%. on the other hand, the cut off of B.A Economic honours for the general category student is now 96.5%. The admissions for the OBC and SC category have been closed for the programme.

- Miranda House has closed the admission for English Honors, however, for Economics, it has marked 97.75%.

- Political Science, the most popular course this year, is available in only 15 colleges out of the 50 colleges.

- Many colleges have reduced the Cut off list by only a maximum of 1 %point.

- Hindu College has marked the cut off list for BA (Hons) Economics at 98% and is 0.25% less than the score announced in the second list.

- In the Science stream, seats are available for BSc (Hons) Zoology and BSc (Prog.) Physical Science with Chemistry courses.

- At Hansraj College, seats are available for BSc(Hons) Botany for which the cut off has dropped down from 94.66 % to 93.33%.

- Kamala Nehru College has concluded its cut off list for Journalism course at 92%.

- Daulat Ram College has admissions open for BA(Hons) English with a dip of 1 % from 95.75% to 94.75%.

- At Gargi College seats are available for courses like BA(Hons) English, B.Com (Hons), BSc Life Science and Physical Science.

- Janki Devi Memorial College has set 75-87% cut-offs for the course of the BA Programme.
 
There is a relaxation in marks for girls in all courses. According to the data of DU, 43,584 aspirants have taken admission after 778 withdrawals since the beginning of the admission process.
 
This year university has increased 10% seats for the EWS category students. There has been a growth of close to 6000 UG seats, the total number of seats for UG courses is 62000.
