AMU to start bridge course for madrasa pass-outs
Aligarh Muslim University (AMU) will introduce a bridge course for madrasa pass-outs for their full-fledged participation in academic life on the campus.

The one-year bridge course will make madrasa graduates at par with 10+2 graduates, enabling them to join most of courses at the undergraduate level.

The objective behind the course is to provide madrasa graduates with a non-conventional training in mainstream knowledge to enable them prepare for institutionalised supplemental education and wider employment avenues.

The course will focus on innovative and interactive techniques where students and teachers discuss study material. The syllabus of the course includes English, information technology, personality development and a course on contemporary Islam.
