Common Admission Test (CAT) for entrance to the prestigious IIMs and other B-schools kicked off today with the organisers saying that the opening day had seen the test successfully concluded.
According to Prometric India, which is conducting the online test in association with the IIMs, 4,066 candidates appeared for the exam on the first day on Wednesday.
“We are pleased to announce that the first day of CAT 2013 testing ended smoothly,” said Managing Director of PMI, Soumitra Roy.
The CAT exam will be conducted over a period of 20 days till Nov. 11. There are no tests scheduled tomorrow and exams will resume from Oct. 18.
