TNTET 2022: Exam details
Through TNTET Exam 2022, which is conducted annually, qualifying candidates will be recruited on teaching posts in the government as well as private schools of Tamil Nadu state. The exam will be pen and paper based, in which candidates will be required to answer a total of 150 Multiple-choice questions (MCQs). The exam date, center and other important details will be listed on the admit card for the exam. To know updates related to admit card release date, candidates are advised to keep a check on the official website.
The examination center for the TNTET paper will be set up in approximately 32 districts of Tamil Nadu. The Tamil Nadu Teachers Reccruitment Board reserves the right to increase or decrease the number of exam centers and re-allot the centres to the candidates. Districts in which the exam centers have been set up are provided below for the reference of the candidates.

Candidates applying for the exam must be 18 years old or above. No maximum age has been fixed for the candidates.
TNTET 2022: Steps to apply
Candidates can follow the stepwise procedure mentioned below to apply for the exam.
- Log on to the official website of TN TRB at trb.tn.nic.in.
- Click on the link flashing on the website homepage that reads 'TN TET 2022 Application form'. Register yourself on the website first, following which you will receive a registration number on your mobile number/email ID.
- Login using your registration ID and begin filling the application form.
- Upload all the documents and pay the application fees in the online mode. Finally review the application form and click on 'Submit'.
- Download the confirmation page and take a printout of the same for future references.
