SSC GD 2025: The Staff Selection Commission (SSC) is going to close the registration window for the General Duty (GD) constable recruitment 2025 exam today. Interested candidates who have not applied yet can visit the official website i.e. ssc.gov.in. to fill out the SSC GD 2025 application form.
The candidates may note that the exam is scheduled to be conducted in January - February 2025. After closing the application window the commission will open the application correction window from 5 November 2024. The candidates will be allowed to make changes to their application form through this window if required.
This recruitment drive will fill out a total of 39,481 vacancies in various positions, including General Duty Constable, Central Armed Police Forces, Special Security Force, Rifleman (General Duty) in Assam Rifles, and Sepoy in the Narcotics Control Bureau. Out of 39,481 vacancies, 35,612 are reserved for male candidates and the remaining 3,869 positions are reserved for female candidates.

Stage 1 is the written examination, which is conducted in a computer-based format.
This is followed by Stage 2, the Physical Efficiency Test (PET), and Stage 3, the Physical Standard Test (PST).
The final stage, Stage 4, is the medical test. Candidates who are shortlisted after the medical test will be required to appear for document verification.
