PGCIL Trainee Recruitment 2024 Last Date: The Power Grid Corporation of India Limited (PGCIL) has is all set to close the application window for Trainee positions today, November 19, 2024. Eligible candidates can visit the official website (powergrid.in) to submit their application. 

While this recruitment drive will fill out a total of 795 vacancies for Diploma Trainee, Junior Officer Trainee, and Assistant Trainee roles within the organization. The registration was opened on October 22, 2024.

Candidates, who wish to participate in the same, can check the official notice available on the official website. 

In a bid to submit the application for the same, candidates will have to pay application fees according to the position i.e. for the positions of Diploma Trainee Engineer (DTE), Diploma Trainee Controller (DTC), Junior Officer Trainee in Human Resources (JOT HR), and Junior Officer Trainee in Finance and Accounts (JOT F&A) is Rs 300.

While for the position of Assistant Trainee in Finance and Accounts (Assistant Tr. F&A), the fee is Rs 200. However, candidates belonging to the Scheduled Caste (SC), Scheduled Tribe (ST), Persons with Benchmark Disabilities (PwBD), and Ex-Servicemen (Ex-SM) categories are exempt from paying the application fee. 

PGCIL Recruitment 2024: Selection Process
The selection of the candidates will be done on the basis of a written Test or Computer-Based Test (CBT), followed by a Computer Skill Test (CST) where applicable, and a Pre-Employment Medical Examination. Offers of appointment will be extended to qualified candidates based on their merit ranking and organizational requirements.
