Odisha Police Constable Recruitment 2024 update: The Odisha Police Department has begun the registration process for the recruitment of various Sepoy/ Constable posts. This recruitment drive aims to fill 1,360 Sepoy/ Constable vacancies. "The State Selection Board, Odisha Police is going to conduct recruitment for 1360* posts in the rank of Sepoys / Constables in different OSAP / IR / SIR / SS Battalions. A detailed advertisement along with eligibility criteria showing age, educational qualification, category wise vacancies against each Battalion, mode, plan and syllabus of examination, etc. will be available in Odisha Police website www.odishapolice.gov.in from 23.09.2024 (10:00 AM). Odisha Police Constable Recruitment 2024: Eligibility criteria
Candidates must have successfully completed the Class 10 or High School Certificate Examination administered by BSE Odisha, or an equivalent examination from any recognized board or council. The minimum age for applicants is set at 18 years, while the upper age limit is established at 23 years as on November 1, 2024. Additionally, there is a relaxation of the maximum age limit by 5 years for candidates who belong to the SC, ST, and SEBC categories.
