The revised time for the upcoming West Bengal State Eligibility Test, WB SET has been announced by the West Bengal College Service Commission, WBCSC. The candidates who have registered themselves for the examination can now check the official website- wbcsconline.in for more details.

The examination will be conducted on 9th January 2022. WB SET 2022 will be conducted for a total of 33 subjects at various test centres across the state. The exam will be held for two papers in two different sessions- paper-I will be conducted from 10.30 am to 11.30 am and paper-II will be held from 12 pm to 2 pm. As per the official notification, the candidates should report on or by 9 pm to the exam centre after which the entry will be restricted by the commission.

The exam notification was issued on the official website on 16th August 2021 and the candidates were allotted time till 16th September to fill in the online application form. The admit card for WB SET 2022 has already been released on 15th December. The candidates who haven’t yet downloaded the admit card should download it at the earliest. The exam will be conducted on 9th January by following all the COVID-19 safety measures. The candidates must visit the official website for more related details and updates.

WB SET 2022: Exam Pattern

The exam for paper-I will be conducted for a total of 100 marks and the candidates will be given 50 questions to solve. For every correct answer, 2 marks will be awarded. The candidates will get 60 minutes or 1 hour to solve the paper. The candidates appearing for paper-II will get 100 questions worth 200 marks to solve. A total of 120 minutes or 2 hours will be given to candidates.

WBCSC conducts West Bengal State Eligibility Test every year. The exam is conducted to determine the eligibility of the candidates for the Post of Assitant Professor. The candidates are shortlisted on the basis of their performance in both the papers- paper-I and paper-II.
