UPTET Exam 2021: Chief Minister of Uttar Pradesh, Yogi Adityanath has directed the senior bureaucrats to ensure concrete preparations for the safe and systematic conduct of the Uttar Pradesh Teachers' Eligibility Test (UPTET)-2021, which is scheduled to be held on January 23, 2022. During a Covid review meeting held with 'Team 9' on Monday, January 17, CM Adityanath emphasized adherence to Covid-19 protocol and the availability of masks, sanitisers and infrared thermometers at all the exam centres.

Notably, UPTET Exam 2021 was originally scheduled to take place on November 28, 2021 but was cancelled owing to a paper leak incident. Several people had been arrested in connection with the UPTET Exam paper leak case. In addition to this, some senior officials of the examination regulatory body in Prayagraj were also involved in the malpractice, after the state government probed the matter.

Additional Chief Secretary, Home, Additional Director General, Law and Order, Principal Secretary, Basic Education, District Magistrates, Basic Education Officers and other prominent officers concerned have also been instructed to take stock of the arrangements by means of video conferencing, to maintain the integrity of the examination.

The Examination Regulatory Authority (ERA), Prayagraj, will release the answer key of UPTET Exam 2021 on January 27 and aspirations are free to raise objections on the answer key online till February 1, 2022. A special committee will be constituted, which will review all the raised objections and will release the final answer keys tentatively by February 23, 2022.
 
UPTET Exam 2021: Do's
  1.  The candidates must compulsorily take a hard copy of the admit card while appearing for the examination.
  2. Along with this, candidates must also carry any government-issued ID card and passport size photograph that matches the application form filled by the student.
  3. Candidates are required to report at the exam centre at least one or two hours prior to the commencement of the examination.
  4. Candidates must carry their own masks and sanitizer in the exam hall. They are also directed to adhere to Covid-appropriate behaviour.
  5. The student will have to submit the admit card on the direction of the invigilator.
  6. Candidates are required to read the complete instructions for the exam before the exam commences.
  7. Candidates can call the invigilator/exam instructor in case of any confusion.
  8. For rough paper work, the candidate must use the sheet provided at the examination centre only. Also, the rough paper shall be submitted to the invigilator after the exam.
UPTET Exam 2021: Don'ts
  1. Candidates must reach the examination centrre in due time. Any candidate appearing late for the examination will not be allowed to enter the examination hall.
  2. No candidate must possess any prohibited devices/accessories such as digital watch, formula tables, paper sheets or any other electronic devices. If any candidate is found using the aforementioned unfair means, he/she shall be disqualified from the examination.
  3. Candidates are not allowed to ask anything from other candidates under any circumstances. 
  4. The candidates must not carry out their rough work on any other paper sheet other than the ones distributed at the exam centre.
  5. Candidates shall not leave the examination hall until the examination ends.
