UPSC has allowed the applications to change their exam centre as several requests have been received. UPSC Civil Services (Preliminary) exam is going to be held on October 4, 2020. The requests in large numbers have been received to allow the candidates to change the exam centre.
The Commission has allowed the candidates to change the examination centre for the Civil Services (Preliminary) Examination 2020 and Indian Forest Service (Preliminary Examination) at the request of the candidates. UPSC has said in a statement that a large number of candidates take part in the Civil Services Preliminary Examination and the Indian Forest Service Examination. The commission received requests from candidates for a change in the examination centre.
In such a situation, given the number of candidates and the request of the candidates, the Commission has given an opportunity to make changes in the examination centre. After this decision of the Commission, now candidates can make changes in their examination centre.
Candidates can change the examination centre for Civil Service Main Examination and Indian Forest Service Main Examination. For this, the window will be available in two stages for change in the examination centre. Candidates can make changes in the examination centre by going to upsconline.nic.in. The Civil Services Preliminary Examination is to be held on October 4. Whereas, the remaining interviews for the Civil Services Examination 2019 will start from July 20.
The Civil Services Main Examination 2020 will be held on 8 January 2021. The new schedule has been released on the official website www.upsc.gov.in. Candidates can make changes in the examination centres from 7 to 13 July. This change will be done through the official website.
