The examination will be held in three districts of Uttar Pradesh, namely Lucknow, Ghaziabad and Prayagraj. Only those candidates are eligible to appear in this examination who have qualified the Prelims exam. Notably, the UPPSC PCS Main Exam 2021 date has been postponed. Earlier, the exam was scheduled to be conducted on January 23, 2022, which will now commence from January 28 to continue till January 31, 2022.
E-admit cards for the exam will be made available to the candidates, which will contain their Exam date, time, venue and other details. Candidates will have to report at the exam centre assigned by the Commission and no applications regarding change in exam centre shall be entertained by the Commission.
The registration process for UPPSC PCS Main Exam 2021 began on August 13, 2021 and concluded on September 10, 2021. This recruitment drive is being conducted to fill 281 vacant posts in the organisation. Candidates are advised to check the official website of UPPSC for more details in this regard.
UPPSC PCS Main Exam 2021: Guidelines for candidates
- The official notice issued by Commission emphasizes adherence of candidates to the Covid-19 protocol at the exam centre.
- The Commission has made it necessary for the candidates to wear a face mask at the examination centre and carry their own transparent water bottles and sanitizer bottles with them.
- The Commission's notice also states that candidates are prohibited from carrying any kind of electronic devices in the examination hall.
- Candidates will not be allowed to go to the washroom in the last half hour of the exam.
