The Uttar Pradesh government on Tuesday approved rules for recruitment of 35,000 police constables, comprising no written examination.
The Chief Minister, Akhilesh Yadav briefed the media persons after the cabinet meeting that the recruitment of the policemen will be done in a phased manner. A direct physical test will be conducted for the recruitment and the merit list would be prepared on the basis of their marks in high school and intermediate examination.There will be no written examination, he expressed.
