The preparation for National Eligibility Test (NET) 2014 exam is in full swing as the is all set to conduct the exam on December 28.
A total of 45 centres have been constituted by Chaudhary Charan Singh University (CCSU) to conduct examination.
The admit card has been issued to the candidates. The University has uploaded the subject wise Roll Number and list of centres on its website. The university has issued detailed notification regarding exam to candidates.
The UGC-NET Exam will be conducted on December 28 in two shifts : Morning shift will be conducted from 09:30 AM to 12:00 PM for Paper-I and Paper-II and the Second Shift will be held from 01:30 PM to 04:00 PM. The students are notified that they must reach examination centres 30 minutes before scheduled time.
Students arriving late than 20 minutes will not be allowed to enter into examination hall. The UGC-NET will be conducted for determining the eligibility of Indian nationals for the Eligibility for Assistant Professor only or Junior Research Fellowship & Eligibility for Assistant Professor Both in Indian universities and colleges.
Issuing the notification on the official website it said that CBSE will conduct NET in 79 subjects at 87 selected NET Coordinating Institutions spread across the country.
The candidates who qualify for the award of Junior Research Fellowship are eligible to pursue research in the subject of their post-graduation or in a related subject and are also eligible for Assistant Professor. The universities, institutions, IITs and other national organizations may select the JRF awardees for whole time research work in accordance with the procedure prescribed by them.
