UGC NET 2024 Exam Guidelines update: The National Testing Agency (NTA) has released the admit card for the re-examination of the UGC NET Exam 2024. Candidates can now download the exam hall ticket from the official website (ugcnet.nta.nic.in). Furthermore, it is essential for candidates to present their admit cards upon arrival at the examination centers, as entry will be denied without this document.

The UGC-NET June 2024 will be conducted by the National Testing Agency (NTA) using computer-based testing (CBT) from August 21, 2024, to September 4, 2024. As per the official notification, the UGC NET retest will be held at various examination centers, with two available shifts: one from 3:00 PM to 6:00 PM and the other from 9:00 AM to 12:00 PM.

Prohibited Items in the Examination Hall

The information bulletin specifies that candidates are not allowed to possess any items that are prohibited or could be utilized for unfair practices. This includes any stationery, communication devices, accessories, food items, jewelry, or any other materials relevant or irrelevant to the examination. 
Prohibited items include phones, PDAs, organizers, memory sticks/cards, headsets, Walkmans, recorders, translators, and similar devices.

Food and beverages, including chocolates, chips, and other snacks, as well as personal belongings such as jewelry, wallets, purses, headgear, scarves, goggles, jackets, etc., are also not permitted. Electronic devices such as Bluetooth, digital, wireless, electrical, and communication gadgets, as well as textual or stationary items like log tables, books, pencil cases, or geometry boxes, and blue or black ballpoint pens are prohibited. Digital calculators and paper notes are also not allowed.

Items Required at the Examination Centre
Candidates must bring the following items to the examination venue:
- Admit Card
- PAN Card
- Passport-sized photograph (the same one uploaded with the online application)
- Copy of the application form

Reporting Time and Additional Important Instructions
Candidates are required to report to the examination centre at the designated time.

Candidates are required to arrive at the examination centre two hours prior to the start of the examination.

Candidates should note that the registration desk will close 30 minutes before the examination begins.

It is recommended that candidates thoroughly review the instructions provided on their admit cards and adhere to them throughout the examination.

Candidates must take their seats promptly upon the opening of the Examination Hall. Those who arrive late for any reason, such as traffic congestion or delays in public transportation, may miss important general instructions that will be announced in the Examination rooms or halls.
