The online application process for the Tripura Public Service Commission (TPSC) Personal Assistant exam will end on October 1, 2018.
“Applications are invited in the prescribed form from bonafide citizens of India for selection of candidates for recruitment to the post of Personal Assistant,” read a notice on TPSC’s official website.
While the online application started on September 2, the four-page application form printed in colour font is available on all Branches/Extension counters of Tripura Gramin Bank in Tripura.
How to register?
The simple registration process as follows:
Step 1: Visit www.tpsc.gov.in.
Step 2: Go to the online application option.
Step 3: Click on the Personal Assistant Grade-II (PA-II) under GA(P&T) Department advertisement.
Step 4: Read the instructions and apply.
As per service rule, the Recruitment process will comprise of three successive stages viz.
(i) Preliminary Examination of 100 marks (multiple Choice Type Test), (ii) Type Writing (Using
Computer) of 100 marks & Shorthand Writing & Transcription (using computer) of 200 marks and
(iii) Main Examination of 250 marks (Conventional Type Test).
The Preliminary Examination is a Screening Test only to select candidates for the Type Writing and Shorthand Writing and Transcription. The marks obtained in this examination by the candidates will not be taken into account for the purpose of preparing the final merit list.
Minimum 50% marks will be the qualifying marks in respect of Type Writing and Shorthand Writing and Transcription, relaxable up to 40% in case of SC/ST candidates.
The final selection will be made in order of merit on the basis of marks obtained by a candidate in Main Examination plus the marks obtained in the Type Writing and Shorthand Writing and Transcription Test.
The candidates who will be found qualified in the Type Writing and Shorthand Writing and Transcription will be called to appear in the Main Examination.
Qualification
Higher Secondary (H.S.+2) or equivalent examination from a recognized Board/University with minimum 45% marks in average.
Knowledge of operating computer.
Proficiency in typing in English on computer and shorthand writing transcription with minimum speed of 40 words per minute and 100 words per minute respectively.
