TNPSC Group 2 CSE 2024: The Tamil Nadu Public Service Commission (TNPSC) has increased the number of vacancies under the Group 2 and 2 Combined Civil Services examination, 2024. The commission has added 213 vacancies after which the total number went up to 2,540. The candidates can visit the official website i.e. tnpsc.gov.in. to check the official notification.
According to the official notice, " The number of vacancies in Integrated Civil Services Examination II (Parts II and IIA) was 2327 as per the notification No. 08/2024 released on June 20, 2024. Now, with the supplementary notification 8A/2024, an additional 213 vacancies have been added, raising the total number of vacancies to 2540."
Then TNPSC group 2 preliminary examination was conducted on 14 September 2024 in a single shift i.e. from 9.30 am to 12.30 pm. Candidates who qualify for the test will become eligible to appear for the mains examination. The prelims examination paper comprised 200 questions. The maximum marks in the paper were 300 and the duration was 3 hours.
Questions were asked from four topics: General Studies, Aptitude, Mental Ability, and Language (general Tamil or general English). The prelims examination is only to shortlist candidates for the mains round. Marks of the preliminary examination will not be considered for the final merit list.

- Firstly, candidates need to visit the official website i.e. tnpsc.gov.in.
- Then click on the result link available on the home page.
- Enter your login credentials and click on submit.
- The result will be displayed on the screen of the candidate.
- After viewing, download the same.
- The candidates can take a printout for future reference.
