In the wake of the pandemic of the COVID 19, the Rajasthan University has postponed examination of all courses. The varsity has released an official notification announcing the postponement of the examination. As per the notice, all the colleges affiliated to Rajasthan University and the university itself will be closed till March 31, 2020.

The Government of India has also issued an advisory requesting the cancellation of all the exams in the states across the country.  Due to the global pandemic of the COVID-19, the varsity have postponed all the examination to control the spread of Novel Coronavirus in the state.

As per the official notification issued by the Rajasthan University, all the exams which were scheduled to be held from March 19 to 31, 2020, have been cancelled. The varsity will announce the new dates for the examination shortly on its official website. Students who have applied for the examination can check further updates by visiting Rajasthan University's website i.e. www.uniraj.ac.in.

Also, the schools and colleges of Uttar Pradesh state are also closed till April 02, 2020. Many state governments and the central government is taking serious actions to curb and control the spread of Novel Coronavirus. The statement has come in view of the rapidly growing cases of people suffering from coronavirus.

As per the media reports the coronavirus has infected more than 2,25,000 people in 176 countries, killing about 9,200 of them till now.

People may experience:
- runny nose
- sore throat
- dry cough
- fever
- difficulty in breathing (severe cases)

In case of having any of the above symptoms for more than 5 days, seek medical attention and follow the directions of your local health authority.

You can reduce your risk of infection if you:
Wash your hands frequently- Clean hands frequently with alcohol-based hand rub or soap and water
If you have a cold and cough- Cover nose and mouth when coughing and sneezing with tissue or flexed elbow
Maintain social distancing- Avoid close contact (1 metre or 3 feet) with anyone with cold or flu-like symptoms
Avoid touching eyes, nose and mouth-  Hands touch many surfaces and can pick up viruses. Once contaminated, hands can transfer the virus to your eyes, nose or mouth.
