The official notification released in regard to the exam deferment read, 'All the concerned candidates are hereby informed that in light of the dislocation caused by severe floods in Odisha state, the ASO exam slated to be held on August 21 has been deferred until further orders'.
 
About OPSC ASO Recruitment 2022:
 
The Odisha Public Service Commission has notified a total of 796 Assistant Section Officer (ASO) posts under the Home Department of Odisha. Eligible candidates will be recruited to the pay scale of Rs 35,400 (level 9).
 
OPSC ASO Recruitment 2022: Selection Process
 
Registered candidates will first be required to appear for the written examination. On qualifying it, the candidates will be called for a skill test in Computer application.
 
OPSC ASO Exam Pattern 2022:
 
The OPSC ASO written test 2022 will comprise 3 papers. While Paper I and Paper II will consist of 100 marks each, Paper III will comprise 200 marks. The exam will be held in the physical (pen-paper) mode.
