The NEET PG 2020 Counselling is likely to resume on April 20, 2020, by the Medical Counselling Committee (MCC). The MCC has issued an official notice stating the commencement of Round-1 State PG Counselling from April 20 to May 04, 2020. The official notice is available on the website of MCC at mcc.nic.in.

The official notification reads, "In reference to the Notice uploaded on MCI website (copy enclosed) the Round-1 of State PG Counselling will be conducted by the state from 20th April till 04th May 2020."

Candidates are advised to contact the state counselling authorities for latest updates related to the NEET PG 2020 Counselling. Earlier the MCC declined all the counselling events of the NEET PG 2020 due to the Coronavirus (COVID-19) outbreak in the country. Now the authorities have decided to complete the counselling process ASAP and fulfil the shortage of doctors in the hospitals.

As per the previous schedule, the first round of counselling seat allotment was scheduled to be done on March 25 and 26, 2020. While the result was scheduled to be announced on March 27, 2020, which has now been postponed till further orders.

The examination for NEET PG 2020 was conducted on January 5, 2020, and the result was announced on February 6, 2020. The general category cut off score this year was 366. 

NEET PG 2020 exam is conducted for admission to MD/MS courses in various medical colleges across India.
