Today is last date to submit resignation application for candidates who have joined seats under NEET PG 2020 Round 1 Counselling. The MCC has issued the notice on April 30, asking candidates to resign from their allotted seats till May 08, which was later extended to May 12, 2020.

The counselling process was getting delayed due to the pandemic outbreak of the COVID-19 and nationwide lockdown. Thus it has been decided by the competent authority to allow the candidates who have joined their alloted college of Round-1 both in online or in offline mode to resign from their joined seat. 

The authority has also announced that these seats will come back in the system for allotment in Round-2. Also, Colleges are being instructed to E-mail the resignation letter to such candidates. The seat resignation notice issued by the MCC is available on the website of MCC at mcc.nic.in.

NEET PG 2020 Counselling was held both in the online and offline mode April 20, 2020, by the MCC. The Round-1 State PG Counselling was scheduled to be held from April 20 to May 04, 2020. While the first round of counselling seat allotment was scheduled to be done on March 25 and 26, 2020.  Also, the result was scheduled to be announced on March 27, 2020, which has now been postponed till further orders.

The examination for NEET PG 2020 was conducted on January 5, 2020, and the result was announced on February 6, 2020. The general category cut off score this year was 366.
