The Madhya Pradesh Public Service Commission (MPPSC) has so far not taken any decision on cancelling its 2012 examination which was marred by paper leak allegation, saying a probe into the matter was still on.

"The probe of STF (Special Task Force) into the matter (paper leak of MPPSC 2012 Main examination) is going on. In such a situation, it cannot be said that how many candidates had adopted unfair means and to what extent it has affected the selection process. Hence, it will not be right to take a decision before probe is completed," secretary, MPPSC Manohar Dubey said in an official release issued last night.

In a meeting held here yesterday, the Commission mulled over the entire matter analysing ongoing STF's probe and opinion of senior advocates of the matter, it said.

After the reports of paper leak were out in the media, the Commission had cancelled the interviews, which was scheduled to be held on July 30 last year.

MPPSC's State Services Examination 2012 was held from October 1- 25, 2013 and results were declared on April 25, 2014.

Meanwhile, a large number of candidates who had taken the examination have been protesting on the issue ever since the matter surfaced.
