The MPBSE, on February 23, 2022, took to Twitter to apprise the students of Class 5 and 8 about the Board exams and issue important guidelines to students regarding the same. Notably, the students of Class 5 and 8 will mandatorily have to appear for board exams to get promoted to Class 6 and 9 respectively.
The MP state board exams for students of Class 5 will commence on April 1, 2022 and will continue till April 8, 2022. Meanwhile, for the students of Class 8, exams will begin on April 1, 2022 and will conclude on April 9, 2022.
The expected date for the declaration of the results is April 22, 2022.
MP Board Exams 2022: Guidelines for Class 5, 8 students
The guidelines regarding the state board exams for students of Class 5 and 8 are mentioned below.
- Students failing the board exam will be provided additional tuition classes by the school and 2 months after the declaration of result, he/she shall be allowed to re-appear in the examination.
- If the student fails even in the re-appear examinations, he/she shall be considered detained overall.
- Those students who do not qualify their respective examinations shall not be promoted to the next grade.
- No students will be expelled from the school until their elementary education is completed.
