Notably, the registration window for the exam will shut down on March 31, 2022. It is notified to the candidates that the syllabus and marking scheme has been released for Pharmacy, Engineering and Technology and Pharm D degree courses.
Candidates must note that the entire syllabus is based on the one shared by State Council of Educational Research and Training (SCERT), Maharashtra. According to the guidelines issued by SCERT, Class 11 syllabus would carry 20% weightage, while Class 12 syllabus would bear 80% weightage. Marking scheme has been provided below for the reference of the candidates.

It is informed to the candidates that the entire syllabus for Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics and Biology would be considered, except for the portions omitted by SCERT, Maharashtra. In addition to this, the exam rules also state that no marks will be deducted for filling wrong responses and most of the questions will be application based. The test will comprise 3 papers of 100 marks each and will contain Multiple Choice Questions (MCQs).

Candidates can follow the steps mentioned herewith to apply for Maharashtra CET Exam 2022.
- Log on to the official website of Maharashtra CET at mhtcet2022.mahacet.org.
- Click on the link that reads 'New Registration' on the home page. Read the information carefully, accept the terms and conditions and click on proceed.
- Register yourself by filling in the required details. Post this, log in to your portal using the generated credentials and fill the application form.
- Pay the application form fees and submit the form.
- Save the confirmation page and obtain its hard copy for future references.
