Maharashtra TET 2024: The Maharashtra State Examination Council, Pune is going to close the registration window for Maharashtra Teacher Eligibility Test (Maha TET 2024) today. The candidates who have not yet applied can visit the official website i.e. mahatet.in. to submit the application for the same.
According to the schedule, the Maharashtra TET 2024 exam will be conducted on 11 November 2024. While the exam will have two papers, the TET paper 1 will be conducted from 10.30 am to 1 pm, and paper 2 will commence from 2 pm to 4.30 pm. In a bid to teach Classes 1 to 5, candidates must qualify for paper I. Candidates must clear paper 2 to teach Classes 6 to 8.
The candidates may note that to apply for the same, they have to pay application fees according to the category they belong to i.e. the applicants belonging to the SC and ST categories for the Maharashtra TET are required to pay a fee of Rs 700 for each paper or Rs 900 for both papers combined.
However, the candidates with disabilities (40% or greater) must also pay Rs 700 per paper or Rs 900 for both. Those from the OBC, EWS, SEBC, open category, SBC, NT-B, C, D, VJA, and TA categories must pay Rs 1,000 for a single paper or Rs 1,200 for both papers. According to the released schedule, the application fee payment window will also close today.
