The notification for the Maharashtra Teacher Eligibility Test (MAHATET) 2019 has been released by the Maharashtra State Council of Examination (MSCE), Pune.
The application process for the MAHATET 2019 has begun on November 08, 2019.

The application form is available on the official website i.e. mahatet.in.

The candidates who wish to appear for the exam can visit the official website and apply for the same.

About 3 lakh aspirants had appeared for the exam in the year 2018.

MAHATET 2019: Eligibility

MAHATET would have two papers – Paper I for Classes 1 to 5th and Paper II for teachers of classes 6 to 8.
The basic qualification for Paper I is HSC with a minimum of 50% and a Diploma in Education.

As for Classes 6 to 8 for the TGT level, candidates are required to have completed their graduation, qualified HSC with minimum 50% marks and have a B.A./ B.Sc.Ed. or B.A.Ed./ B.Sc.Ed.

Maharashtra TET 2019: How to apply?

Step 1: Go to mahatet.in and click on New Registration to begin the online application.
Step 2: Register using your e-mail id and mobile number. Candidates are advised to keep the email id and mobile number active through the entire examination process.
Step 3: Fill in the required details
Step 4: Upload the pictures and other documents, pay the fees to complete the registration process. Candidates may please carefully check the specification of the photos and documents that need to be uploaded.

Note: The Validity Period of MAHA TET qualifying certificate for appointment will be decided by the appropriate Government subject to a maximum of seven years for all categories.
