The Karnataka School Education Department is to conclude the Karnataka Teacher Eligibility Test (KARTET) 2020 application process today, June 11, 2020. The application form is available on the official website i.e. schooleducation.kar.nic.in. Candidates who wish to apply for the written examination and candidates who completed the application and not paid the fee can visit the official website and fill the application form.

Amid the COVID-19 pandemic and lockdown across the country, the authorities decided to postpone the KARTET 2019-2020 applications till June 11. Earlier the application process for the Karnataka Teacher Eligibility Test (TET) 2020 was postponed till May 03 which was further extended later on.

KARTET 2020: How to fill the application form?

Candidates can follow these simple steps to fill the KARTET 2019 application form;

Step 1: Visit the official website of KARTET at schooleducation.kar.nic.in
Step 2: Click on the link that reads, "Karnataka Teachers Eligibility Test-2019 for Online Application"
Step 3: Click on the 'New User' tab, enter details and generate user ID & password
Step 4: Now fill the detailed application form and pay the application fee online
Step 5: Cross-check the application details and finally submit the application
Step 6: Take a print of the confirmation page for further reference.

KARTET 2020 Exam Details
 

The Karnataka TET 2020 comprises two papers Paper 1 and Paper 2. Paper 1 will be conducted from 9.30 am to 12 noon and Paper-II will be conducted from 2 pm to 4.30 pm.
 
The paper will consist of 150 multiple-choice questions (MCQs), each carrying one mark with four alternatives. There will be no negative marking. The medium of question paper other than the languages shall be in English, Kannada, Urdu, Hindi, Tamil, Telugu and Marathi.
