The Common Entrance Test (CET) to be conducted by the Karnataka Examinations Authority (KEA). The exam will be conducted in two shifts April 23 and April 24, 2019.
The language test of Kannada for Horanadu and Gadinadu candidates will be conducted on April 25 at Bangaluru.

The registration process for the exam will begin in February through online mode. In 2018 the exams were held on April 18- 19 and the results were declared in the month of June.

Karnataka Examinations Authority is conducting the Common Entrance Test-2019 as per the following schedule for admission to the First year or First semester Engineering, Technology, Farm Science courses [i,e., Bachelor of Veterinary Science and Animal Husbandry (B, V, Sc, & AH), BSc (Hons) Agriculture, BSc (Hons) Sericulture, BSc (Hons) Horticulture, BSc (Hons) Forestry, BTech (Bio-Technology), BSc (Hons) Community Science, BTech (Agricultural Engineering), BTech (Food Technology), BTech (Dairy Tech), BF, Sc (Fisheries), BSc (Agri. Marketing & Co-Op),1 and BPharm & Pharm-D courses for the year 2019-20.

For admission to Medical / Dental / AYUSH (Ayurveda, Yoga & Naturopathy, Unani and Homoeopathy) courses, candidates have to appear for National Eligibility cum Entrance Test (NEET) - 2019 conducted by CBSE.

For admission to Architecture, course candidates have to appear for JEE Paper -2 or NATA (National Aptitude Test in Architecture) conducted by the Council of Architecture.
