The Joint Seat Allocation Authority (JoSAA) has announced to commence the online registrations for the counselling process tentatively from October 6, 2020. The JoSAA will conduct the counselling process for admission to BTech programmes for admissions into IITs, IIITs, NITs and GFTIs respectively. The complete schedule is yet to be announced by the Joint Seat Allocation Authority (JOSAA). However, the authorities have disclosed the counselling dates through JEE Advanced brochure.
The Indian Institute of Technology, Delhi has released the revised information brochure for the Joint Entrance Examination (JEE) Advanced 2020. As per the revised schedule, the application process for the JEE Advanced 2020 will be commenced from September 11, 2020. The JEE Advance 2020 application form will be available on the official website, jeeadv.ac.in.
Eligible candidates will be able to apply for the counselling process and choose the option of seat float and freeze according to their ranks. Candidates have to complete the registration process for JoSAA 2020 counselling. They will be required to enter the preference of institutes and engineering courses in which they wish to get admission. The announcement of seat allocations will be made in seven rounds after each round of JoSAA counselling.

Joint Seat Allocation Authority, JoSAA was set up by the Ministry of Education (MoE), formerly known as Ministry of Human Resources Development (MHRD). The role of JoSAA is to manage and regulate the joint seat allocation for admissions to 100 institutes.
