The students for class 11 will be promoted without any exam to the next class by the Jammu and Kashmir Board of School Education, JKBOSE.
This decision has been taken due to the ongoing coronavirus outbreak and the extended Pan-India lockdown (Lockdown 3.0), JKBOSE took the decision.
A notice regarding the same has been released on the official website i.e. jkbose.ac.in.
The students can visit the official website and check the latest notice and are advised to keep an eye on the website for further updates.
JKBOSE has taken such a step as it believes that in the current situation academic loss of the students is something the Board does not desire at all, as mentioned in the notice released recently.
The notice read that it is apparent in view of the prevailing situation that the conduct of the mid examination is impossible in the near future and the delay in the conduct of said examination may adversely affect the academic career of candidates who were supposed to participate in the said examination.
“Now thereof, in order to save the academic future, it is hereby notified that all the candidates who were to appear in HSP-1 (Class 11) annual/private/biannual 2019-2020 private examination are promoter to HSP-2 (class 12th) as one-time exception provided that all such candidates have submitted the permission cum admission forms for the said examination and have been found eligible to appear in the said examination.” read the notice further.
To keep the students engaged in academic activities, the board also believes that the new session must begin as soon as possible.
