JEE Mains 2022: National Testing Agency (NTA), the official examination conducting body for JEE Mains 2022, has revised the schedule for the conduct of the Session 2 exams. According to the notification released on the official website, the Session 2 exams will now begin from July 25. Notably, earlier the exams were lined up from July 21 onwards.
JEE Mains 2022: Contents of the Official Notification
 
The official notification released by the NTA in regard to the rescheduling of the exam dates for Session 2 read, 'The Joint Entrance Examination- 2022 (Mains) will commence from July 25 onwards for a total of 6,29,778 candidates. The exam will take place in approximately 500 cities of the country, as well as 17 cities outside the country.
 
In addition to this, the exam conducting body has also apprised of the admit card release date for the exams. As per the date mentioned in the official notification, the hall tickets for the exam will be issued in the online mode on July 21. Once released, the candidates will be able to download their respective hall tickets from the official website of JEE Mains at jeemain.nta.nic.in.

JEE Mains 2022: Exam Pattern and Details
 
The July session of the National level entrance examination will be conducted from July 25 until July 30, 2022 in the Computer-based mode. However, the candidates registered for the BArch exam will be required to appear for the pen and paper based test.
 
The exam will be held for a duration of 3 hours. Paper 1 will comprise 90 questions, out of which the candidates will have to attempt 75 questions. Meanwhile, the BArch paper will consist of 82 questions and BPlan paper will consist of 100 questions respectively.
 
Maximum marks to be awarded in Paper 1 are 300, while the BArch and BPlan paper will carry 400 marks each. The exam will be conducted in 13 languages, namely; English, Hindi, Bengali, Assamese, Kannada, Gujarati, Marathi, Malayalam, Tamil, Telugu, Urdu, Odia and Punjabi.
