The Joint Entrance Examination, JEE Advanced 2021 was conducted on 3rd October 2021 for admissions to BTech courses in IITs across the country. The JEE Advanced 2021 question papers have been released today, 4th October 2021 on the official website. The candidates who appeared for the examination can now check the question papers by visiting the JEE Advanced official website- jeeadv.ac.in.

As per the official notification released earlier, the IIT Kharagpur will release the individual answer copies or the response sheets of the candidates tomorrow, 5th October 2021. The candidates can use response sheets and question papers to compare with the provisional answer key which will be released by the exam conducting body on 10th October 2021. 

Following the release of the provisional answer key on 10th October, the candidates would be able to raise objections (if any) against the answer key. The last date to raise objections is 11th October 2021. The exam conducting body will review the objections raised by the candidate. After considering the objections raised by the candidates, the authorities will release the final answer key for JEE Advanced 2021. The final result will be evaluated based on the final answer key. As per the media reports, the result for JEE Advanced 2021 will be announced on 15th October 2021. 

How to Download JEE Advanced 2021 Question Papers:

  1. Visit the JEE Advanced official website on jeeadv.ac.in.

  2. A homepage will be displayed on the screen, click on the link named ‘JEE (Advanced) 2021 Papers,’ available under the Downloads sections. 

  3. A new page will appear where the candidates can find JEE Advanced Question Papers. Select the preferred option named ‘ Paper 1- Physics, Chemistry, Maths,’ or ‘Paper 2-  Physics, Chemistry, Maths.’ 

  4. The question paper will be displayed on the screen, Save and keep a hard copy of the same for future reference.  

This year, a total of 10,48,000 candidates registered for the JEE Advanced 2021 out of which 939,000 candidates turned out for the exam. The top 250,000 candidates of JEE Mains 2021 were qualified for appearing in the JEE Advanced but only 160,000 candidates registered for the examination.

JEE Advanced 2021 result is declared in the form of a scorecard which contains important details like percentage, subject wise marks, category, rank etc. However, a rank list for JEE Advanced will also be released, which is prepared on the basis of category and marks obtained in the CBT exam. After the declaration of JEE Advanced result, candidates will have to appear for the counselling process for allotment of seats. The counselling of JEE Advanced is called Joint Seat Allocation Authority (JOSA). This is a common counselling process for IIT, NIT and CFTI UG engineering admissions.
