HTET 2018 exam has been rescheduled by the Haryana School Education Board.
The board will now conduct the exam on January 5 and 6, 2019.
Earlier, the HTET 2018 exam was scheduled to be held on on December 22, 23, 30 and 31, 2018.
As per the criteria, out of the total 100 marks, 80 per cent has been kept for written test while eight per cent will be of experience that is one per cent for each completed year of service in the respective category subject to maximum of eight per cent, said an official release.
The rest of the 12 per cent marks will be given on the basis of the interview, it said.
The academic qualifications for the post of PGTs for direct recruitment is at least 50 percent marks in post graduation in concerned subjects and B.Ed from a recognised university, Matric with Hindi or Sanskrit or 10+2/BA/MA with Hindi as one of the subject and certificate of having qualified Haryana Teacher Eligibility Test or HTET/ School Teachers Eligibility Test (STET) and consistent good academic record.
HTET Syllabus as follows:
Level-I - For becoming Teacher for Classes I-V : Primary Teacher
Question pattern
Level-I question paper will be based on the topics of the prescribed syllabus for classes I-V, but their difficulty standard, as well as linkages, could be upto the secondary stage.
Level-II-For becoming Teacher for Classes VI-VIII: Elementary Stage (TGT)
Question pattern
Level-II question paper will be based on the topics of the prescribed syllabus of the Board of School Education Haryana for classes VI-VIII but their difficulty standard as well linkages could be upto the senior secondary stage
Level-III - Post Graduate Teacher (PGT)
Level III question paper will be based on the topics of the prescribed syllabus of the Board of School Education Haryana for classes IX -XII but their difficulty standard as well linkages could be upto the Post-Graduate level.
