HCS Prelims 2022: Haryana Public Service Commission (HPSC), the official examination conducting body for Haryana Civil Services (HCS) Preliminary exam and Dental Surgeon Exams 2021, has cancelled the said exams. The official notice in this regard can be viewed on the official website of Haryana Public Service Commission at hpsc.gov.in.
About HPSC HCS Prelims Exam 2021:

The Haryana Civil Services Preliminary exam was conducted by the Haryana Public Service Commission on September 12, 2021 in the pen-paper mode. The result for the exam was announced on September 25, 2021 and as per result statistics, a total of 2,000 candidates stood qualified to appear for the HCS Mains exam.

Due to unlisted reasons, the HPSC has decided to cancel the said exam. The notification released by the Commission regarding the cancellation of HCS Prelims exam reads, "The Commission has decided to cancel the HCS (Executive Br) and Other Allied Services Preliminary examination, which was conducted on September 12, 2021. The examination for the aforesaid posts will now be held on July 10, 2022."

This recruitment drive is being conducted to fill a total of 156 vacancies. No more fresh applications will be invited for the exam.

The exam paper will comprise 100 questions. One mark will be awarded for each correct answer, while 0.25 marks will be deducted for each wrong answer.

In addition to this, the Commission has also cancelled the Dental Surgeon Exam 2021 which was held on September 26, 2021. The exam for this post will now be held on June 19, 2022 in the pen-paper mode. 81 vacant posts of Dental Surgeon will be filled through this recruitment drive.
