Graduate Pharmacy Aptitude Test (GPAT) is commencing the application process today i.e. November 1, 2018 on the official website of National Test Agency (NTA), nta.ac.in.

 

GPAT was earlier conducted by the All India Council for Technical Education (AICTE).

But from the coming year, the exam will be conducted by the National Test Agency (NTA).

 

The candidates who clear this exam gets eligible to seek admission in Masters in Pharmacy programme.

 

The candidates interested can register themselves once the registration starts today.

 

Steps to apply for GPAT 2019

 

Step 1. Visit the official website of NAT i.e. nta.ac.in

Step 2. Fill in the details for the online registration

Step 3. Keep the scanned copies of your academic certificates

Step 4. Fill in the details required for the application form using all academic details

Step 5. Both online and offline mode of payment will be accepted

 

Important Dates

 

November 1, 2018: Process of submitting the application commences, the candidates interested can apply from this date.

 

November 30, 2018: The application process ends, the candidates interested must apply as on or before November 30, 2018.

 

January 28, 2019: The examination is scheduled to be conducted on January 28, 2019.

 

Eligibility Criteria

 

The candidates who wish to apply for this examination must be holding a Bachelor’s degree in Pharmacy.

 

The candidates who are still in the final year of graduation are also eligible to apply for the examination.

 

The aspirants of B Tech (pharmaceutical and fine chemical technology)/equivalent students are not eligible to apply.

 

About the Exam

 

The GPAT 2019 examination will be in the mode of Online.

 

The examination will be of a total of 3 hours.

 

About GPAT

 

A national level entrance examination which is conducted every year.
 

The examination is conducted by the All India Council for Technical Education (AICTE) as per the direction of Ministry of Human Resource Development (MHRD), Government of India.

 

The exam is conducted fro the institutions to select suitable Pharmacy graduates for admission into the Master’s (M.Pharm) programme.

 

The GPAT score is accepted by all AICTE-approved Institutions/University Departments/ Constituent Colleges/ Affiliated College.
