The Indian Institute of Technology, IIT Kharagpur is to conclude the GATE 2022 registration with late fee on Thursday, October 07. The candidates who wish to appear for the Graduate Aptitude Test in Engineering (GATE) 2022 can apply through the official website - gate.iitkgp.ac.in. The candidates can apply for the entrance exam by paying a late fee of Rs. 500/- till 7th October 2021. The GATE 2022 examination is scheduled to be held on 5th, 6th,12th and13th February 2022.

How to Register for GATE 2022:

The candidates are required to follow the below-mentioned steps to register for GATE 2022.

Step 1 - Visit the desginated official website for GATE on gate.iitkgp.ac.in.
Step 2 - Click on the link reads, 'Apply Online' and generate the Enrollment ID/ Password.
Step 3 - Fill in the GATE 2021 application form carefully and complete the registration process.
Step 4 - Upload necessary documents like scanned images of photograph and signature.
Step 5 - Cross check the details provided and submit the application fee.
Step 6 - Take a print out of the confirmation page for further use.

Marking Scheme
  • The exam paper will consists of questions with 1 mark and 2 marks.

  • For 2-mark MCQ, 2/3 mark will be deducted for a wrong answer.
