The official notification reads, "Because of lockdown enforced in the wake of COVID-19 pandemic, FDDI released a revised schedule on its website for admission to its Bachelor’s and Master’s programmes for 2020-21 academic session. As per the revised admission schedule, All India Selection Test (AIST) 2020 for all the programmes was scheduled for 26th July 2020."
Amid the lockdowns in some form in various parts of the country and unavailability of exam infrastructure at some places, it will be difficult to hold AIST on 26th July 2020. The FDDI has decided to cancel the AIST for 2020-21. Instead of holding the entrance exam, the FDDI has decided to conduct the admission to Bachelor’s and Master’s programmes on the basis of merit list.
