In the wake of the aftermath of Cyclone Fani, the national medical entrance exam or NEET scheduled to be held on May 5, has been postponed in Odisha.

 "NEET exam scheduled for 5th May in Odisha postponed as per the request of State Govt working on relief and rehabilitation work in the wake of #FaniCyclone," pointed out official notification.

The decision comes a day after the extremely severe cyclonic storm Fani barrelled into the Odisha coast on Friday morning, killing eight people. 

However, NEET exam new dates will be announced soon.
