The Central Board of Secondary Education has released a short notification regarding the Commencement of the Common Teacher Eligibility Test (CTET) December on July 14th, 2022. CBSE mentioned in the notification that the CTET detailed Notification will be released very soon. Aspirants can check the notification on the official website @ctet.nic.in.
CTET examination is awaited by lacs of candidates across the country and CBSE will most likely release the detailed notification by the end of July. CBSE conducts the examinations to test the eligibility of candidates for teaching positions at the Secondary and High school level. Last year, around 27.73 lac students appeared for the CTET 2021 Examination.
CBSE CTET December 2022: Application Fee
Candidates from General and OBC category will have to pay a fee of 1000 if they are applying for either Paper 1 or Paper 2 while 1200 in case they apply for both the paper. THe Candidate belonging to SC/ST categories will have to pay Rs 500 for either one of the papers or Rs 600 for both.
CBSE CTET 2022: Eligibility Criteria
Age Limit:
The candidate applying for the exam must have a minimum age of 17 years, while there is no upper age limit for appearing in the examination.
Education Qualification:
Regarding the Educational qualification, the candidate must have qualified courses with teacher's education i.e. B.Ed/M.ed Course with a minimum of 50% aggregate marks.
CBSE CTET 2022: Examination Pattern
CBSE CTET 2022 exam will be conducted as a computer-based test(CBT) mode consisting of 150 Multiple Choices Question (MCQs). CTET 2022 will be divided into two papers Paper I and Paper II. Candidates willing to teach classes 01 to 06 will have to appear for Paper-I and candidates willing to teach the remaining classes will have to appear for Paper II. However, candidates must note that they also have the option to apply for both.
