The Central Board of Senior Secondary also known as CBSE will conduct the Central Teacher Eligibility Test (CTET) 2023 tomorrow. Candidates are requested to download their CTET 2023 admit card from the official website ctet.nic.in.

The exam will be on offline (pen-paper) mode. Candidates have to carry their admit card along with government identity card such as Aadhaar card, PAN, voter card and driver's licence.Candidates who had applied for online mode had been allotted examination centres nearest to their place. 

Exam will be held on 20 August in two shifts. Timing for the first shift is  9:30 AM TO 12:00 noon and the second shift is 2:30 PM TO 05:00 PM. The question paper will carry Multiple Choice Questions (MCQs) with four options. For every correct answer candidates will be awarded one mark, there is no negative marking for wrong answer. 

Every candidate should know paper-1 is conducted for those who want to become a teacher for classes I to V and paper-II is for class VI-VIII. Anyone who applied for both position, will appear in both papers.

In paper-I There will be five sections: child development and pedagogy, language I, language II, mathematics and environmental studies. Paper-II will carry four sections: child development and pedagogy, language I, language II and mathematics and science (for maths and science teacher) or social studies (for social studies teacher). Candidates clearing this exam will be able to apply for union government run schools such as Kendriya Vidhyalaya and Navodya Vidayalya.
