The 15th edition of the Central Teacher Eligibility Test - CTET, conducted by CBSE i.e. Central Board of Secondary Education, is being conducted in December 2021 and January 2022. The online application process has already started on Monday, 20th September 2021. The last date to apply online is till 25th October 2021. The candidates can visit the official website for more details- ctet.nic.in.

CBSE said that the exam will be conducted as a computer-based test in CBT mode. The exam will be conducted from December 16, 2021, to January 13, 2022. The subject-wise time and date of the examination will be intimated through the admit card. This exam will be conducted by CBSE in 20 languages across the country. Detailed information bulletin containing information on examination, syllabus, eligibility criteria, examination fee, city of examination and important dates, etc. is available on ctet.nic.in website.

Documents required to apply for CTET 2021

  • Passing certificate of class 12th.

  • Candidates must also attach the certificate of their highest qualification.

  • Scanned copy of Aadhar Card.

  • Scanned photograph in .jpg or .jpeg format.

  • Scanned photograph of your signature.

  • Candidates should note that if any other documents are asked for in the application form, they should also be uploaded. Failure to do so, their application will not be considered.

CBSE CTET 2021: How to Apply

  • Candidates have to visit the official website ctet.nic.in.

  • On the homepage, at the bottom of the page, click on the link which reads, Apply for CTET December 2021. 

  • Enter the login credentials and fill the online application form and note down the registration number/application number for your records.

  • Now, candidates have to upload the scanned image of the latest photograph and signature to complete it.

  • Pay the requisite application fee and click on submit.

  • Your CTET 2021 application form will be submitted.

  • Download and print a copy of it for future reference.

CTET 2021 will be divided into two papers Paper I and Paper II. Candidates willing to teach classes 01 to 06 will have to appear for Paper-I and candidates willing to teach remaining classes will have to appear for Paper-II. However, candidates must note that they also have the option to apply for both.
