The online application for CSIR UGC NET December 2019 has been commenced on September 08, 2019 by the National Testing Agency, NTA. The application form will be released on the official website that is csirhrdg.res.in.

Candidates who aspire to appear for the CSIR UGC NET December 2019 can fill the application form by visiting the official website. The application process will commence from September 09, 2019 to October 09, 2019.

According to the official notification, "CSIR-UGC National Eligibility Test (NET) for Junior Research Fellowship (JRF) & Eligibility Test for Lectureship/Assistant Professorship will be conducted through National Testing Agency in Computer Based Test (CBT) Mode. The registration will start in the second week of September 2019 for the CSIRUGC-NET Exam Scheduled on 15th December 2019."

Council of Scientific and Industrial Research (CSIR) organizes various entrance examinations among which one is the National Eligibility Test (NET).

Qualifying NET one can be eligible to appear for JRF – Junior Research Fellowship and assistant professor post.

CSIR UGC NET is conducted twice a year to determine the eligibility of candidates for Lectureship positions in Indian University/Colleges and for selection of candidates for the award of JRF by CSIR in June and in December.

Educational Criteria: the aspirants must have done a bachelor's in any subject with a four-year program that is BPharma, BE, BTech, MSc, MBBS, Integrated BS-MS or any other science degree obtaining at least 55% marks.

A candidate belonging to the reserved category 5% concession in marks is applicable.

Candidates, who have done graduation (10+2+3) and are studying M.Sc, are also eligible for the examination.

In order to be appointed as a Lecturer, CSIR UGC NET is the only eligibility criteria and the candidate must qualify the exam.

Application Fee:

General: the examination fees for the candidates belonging to the general category will be Rs 1000 OBC-Non Creamy Layer: the candidates belonging to the OBC category needs to pay Rs 500 for the examination.

SC/ST: the candidates belonging to the SC/ST will have to pay Rs 250 as the examination fees.

The award to the successful eligible candidates of Junior Research Fellowship (NET) will depend on their finding admission/placement in a university/ national laboratory/ institution of higher learning and research, as applicable.

CSIR UGC NET December 2019: Paper Pattern

The pattern for the Single Paper MCQ test shall be as given below:-

1. The MCQ test paper for each subject shall carry a maximum of 200 marks.

2. The exam shall be for a duration of three hours.

3. The question paper shall be divided into three parts

In order to be appointed as a Lecturer, CSIR UGC NET is the only eligibility criteria and the candidate must qualify the exam.
