CLAT 2025 Registration: The Consortium of National Law Universities is set to start the registration process for the Common Law Admission Test (CLAT) 2025 from tomorrow, 14 July, onwards.

 

Eligible candidates can register themselves and submit their CLAT 2025 application forms by visiting the official website at consortiumofnlus.ac.in.

 

CLAT is a national-level law entrance examination administered by the Consortium of NLUs. It acts as the entrance test for 5-year integrated LLB (UG) and one-year LLM (PG) programs. The exam is conducted for admission to 24 NLUs offering undergraduate courses and 21 NLUs offering postgraduate courses.

 

According to the official notification, the CLAT 2025 exam is scheduled for 1 December, 2024, from 2 pm to 4 pm in pen-and-paper mode. The registration deadline for CLAT 2025 is 15 October, 2024.

 

CLAT 2025: Application fee

  • General and Other Backward Classes (OBC):
    • Application fee: Rs 4,000
    • Application fee with question papers: Rs 4,500
  • Scheduled Caste (SC), Scheduled Tribe (ST), Below Poverty Line (BPL):
    • Application fee: Rs 3,500
    • Application fee with question papers: Rs 4,000

 

CLAT 2025: Eligibility criteria

Under-graduate Programme (Five Year Integrated Law Degree)

  • Candidates should have passed the Class 12 or equivalent examination.
  • Required minimum marks:
    • General category: 45% or its equivalent grade.
    • SC, ST, and PwD candidates: 40% or equivalent.
  • Candidates appearing for the qualifying examination in March or April 2025 are eligible to apply.

Post-graduate Programme (One Year LLM Degree)

  • Candidates must possess an LLB degree or an equivalent examination.
  • Required minimum marks:
    • General category: 45% or its equivalent grade.
    • SC, ST, and PwD candidates: 40% or equivalent.
  • Candidates appearing for the qualifying examination in April or May 2025 are eligible to apply.

 

CLAT 2025: Exam pattern

  • Mode of Examination: The CLAT 2025 exam will be conducted in offline mode.
  • Medium of Paper: The medium of the CLAT 2025 paper will be English.
  • Total Number of Questions: There will be a total of 120 objective-type questions in the CLAT 2025 exam.
  • Duration: The duration of the CLAT 2025 exam will be 2 hours.
  • Marking Scheme: Candidates will receive 1 mark for each correct answer.
  • Negative Marking: There will be a penalty of 0.25 marks for each incorrect answer.

  • Now enter your login details and submit. 
  • Fill the application form, upload documents, and submit.
