CLAT 2022: The Consortium of National Law Universities has extended the CLAT 2022 Registration date for the applicants. In addition to this, it has also deferred the conduct of the CLAT 2022 Exam. According to the official notification released by the Consortium of National Law Universities, the new exam date for the first session of CLAT exam has been fixed as June 19, 2022. Aspirants can log on to the official website of the Consortium of National Law Universities at consortiumofnlus.ac.in to view the detailed notification.
In addition to this, the final date to register for the exam has been extended till May 9, 2022, which was earlier slated to close on March 31, 2022. The reason behind the postponement of exams has not been ascertained yet. The candidates about to appear in the exam are advised to take a note of all the aforesaid dates and ensure exam preparations accordingly.

CLAT 2022: Application fees

As per the CLAT 2022 official notification, the unreserved category candidates are required to pay an amount of Rs 4000 as the application fees, while the reserved category candidates will be charged Rs 3500 for the application fees.

Candidates desirous of appearing in the examination can go through the step-by-step process mentioned below in order to register for the examination.
  1. Visit the official website of Consortium of National Law Universities at consortiumofnlus.ac.in.
  2. Click on the link available on the homepage that reads 'CLAT 2022' to register yourself on the website. Verfiy login details through OTP and login through the generated credentials on the website to fill the application form.
  3. Fill in the application form details, such as Personal details, Communication details, Education details. Select preferred exam centre city. Complete the application fee payment process and click on 'Submit'.
  4. The registration process will be completed. Download the confirmation page and obtain a hard copy of the same for further need.
