The Consortium of National Law Universities, NLU has extended the registration last date for Common Law Admission Test (CLAT) 2021. As per the latest media reports, the NLU has extended the registration deadline for CLAT 2021 exam till May 15, 2021. Aspiring candidates can fill the online application by visiting the official website of NLU at consortiumofnlus.ac.in.

Amid COVID-19 pandemic havoc, the NLU has extended the registration last date for the Common Law Admission Test multiple times this year. The application process for the common Law Admission Test (CLAT) 2021 will be commenced from January 01, 2021. Aspiring candidates can fill the online application upto May 15.

The CLAT 2021 examination is likely to be conducted on June 13, 2021 (from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM) for both UG and PG admissions. However, the examination is likely to get postponed due to the emerging pandemic situation prevailing across the country.

CLAT 2021: UG Eligibility Criteria

- There will be no upper age limit for UG Programme in CLAT 2021.
- As regards the minimum percentage of marks in the qualifying examination (i.e., 10+2 or an equivalent examination), the candidates must have secured;
(i) Forty-five percent (45%) marks or its equivalent grade in case of candidates belonging to General / OBC / PWD / NRI / PIO / OCI categories.
(ii) Forty Percent (40%) marks or equivalent in case of candidates belonging to SC/ST categories.

CLAT 2021: How to fill the application form?

Candidates can follow these simple steps to fill the CLAT 2020 application form;

Step 1: Candidates will be required to visit the official website i.e. consortiumofnlus.ac.in
Step 2: Go through the detailed information brochure such as; important dates, eligibility criteria, application fee, etc.
Step 3: Click on the new registration link and generate user id and password
Step 4: Log in with the generated id and password, fill in the detailed application form and upload necessary documents.
Step 5: Submit the application fee and check the application details thoroughly
Step 6: Candidates are advised to take print of the confirmation page and keep it safe for further use.
