While the Intermediate students wait for the revised time table, the Council of Higher Secondary Education (CHSE), Odisha, has implemented a new weightage system for the evaluation of Class 12 students.
As reported by several local media organisations, the CHSE has announced that the students shall be evaluated for CHSE Board exams 2022 on the basis of two separate schemes. These schemes are as follows:
- 80% weightage will be given to the students' performance in the annual higher secondary examinations, while 20% of the weightage will be given to their performance in the quarter end/internal exams.
- 100% weightage shall be given to the students' performance in the annual higher secondary exams.
The Council of Higher Secondary Education, Odisha, has landed on this decision owing to the reduction in the syllabus due to Covid-19 pandemic. As the students faced major snags in academic activities due to the pandemic, the exam syllabus has been reduced to cut exam stress among students.
CHSE Odisha state board exams 2022 are slated to begin for plus two students from April 28, 2022. The exams will be conducted in the offline mode.
